The Process
I participated in the construction and decoration of this stage, as well as the rigging and focusing of the themed lighting used during performances. I secondarily acted as the Assistant Stage Manager during the show’s run, working backstage to deliver time calls, cues, and communicate with the light/sound techs throughout the performance.
The setting of this adventure was an abandoned, dilapidated garage, full of junk and old tools from when the building was once a thriving business. Now, the space has been transformed into the ultimate hangout spot, where every surface could be used as a dance floor.
